Sometimes the BEST family photos are the ones that are NOT posed. When you catch your family in their element, it can turn into a priceless family portrait. The lifestyle session is a documentary session of your family's laughter, personalities, and love. That kind of session is typically held outdoors or at your own home, on any occasion. Because of the storytelling nature of this session, I’ll give your family the true-to-life, joyful, connected imagery - amazing memories to hold in your hands 20 years from now.

Let’s play in the park, explore the city, or have a PJ party. Every family has a colorful story, and I would love to tell yours.

You can also take advantage of Halloween. If you’re the kind of family who loves dressing up, make sure that you don’t miss capturing that! Not only will you be wearing costumes, but it’s also a perfect way to show how much fun you have as a family.

What is a Lifestyle Session?

It is simply a session where giggles are required! I put more focus on realism rather than on posed perfection. For the home session, we’ll utilize areas of your home as our backdrop. Reading books, cuddling on the couch, and jumping on the bed. Whatever it takes to have a great time and how we do it is completely up to you. With my direction, you can be sure to show true emotion and happiness with your family.

YES, YOU’RE PHOTOGENIC!

At some point in our conversations, you might tell me that you don’t like having your photo taken and that’s fine because actually everyone says that at the beginning! All of the images you see in my portfolio feature real people, not models. Nobody (or very few people) comes into a session knowing what to do in front of the camera, so it’s my job to coach you! I’ll help you set up each pose and give you little tips to make you look your best.
