When thinking about themes, the sky's the limit! If you want to go overboard, do so. The most extravagant idea is the best idea. If you want to shoot at night, then why not? There are so many ways in how you can represent who you are as a family! 

Photoshoots don’t have to be boring and repetitive. But then, there’s also nothing wrong with taking structured or scripted photos. If you want to have a photo where all of you are smiling at the camera, then we’ll do it. I will give you my best output to create a great and unforgettable storyline for your family so that you can memorize the session for the more years to come. Not only the final imagery but the whole process. 

Preparation is considered crucial for this kind of family portrait. We will work together to decide on location and styling, creating a storyline. Every detail is important:

  • Matching outfits

  • Makeup and hairstyle

  • Home/Location décor

  • Every little accessory

If you don’t have perfectly styled outfits, it’s totally fine. We will create gorgeous photographs no matter what you’re wearing. Just remember to be you and to be comfortable! If you’d like I will send you clothing tips and sample combos for inspiration, or you can even have me choose your outfits for you. But if you already have something unique in mind, we will discuss it over the phone or through email anytime.

YES, YOU’RE PHOTOGENIC!

At some point in our conversations, you might tell me that you don’t like having your photo taken and that’s fine because actually everyone says that at the beginning! All of the images you see in my portfolio feature real people, not models. Nobody (or very few people) comes into a session knowing what to do in front of the camera, so it’s my job to coach you! I’ll help you set up each pose and give you little tips to make you look your best.
